After Peterborough Economic Development completed its strategic plan for Clean Tech Commons, a Canadian hub for collaborative, sustainable technology research and innovation at Trent University, it needed to develop a tenant recruitment plan.
Our Approach
Stiletto worked with Peterborough Economic Development to develop a focused tenant recruitment plan. The project included:
Assessing potential geographical target markets
Creating an ideal tenant profile
Preparing a list of target companies in identified markets
Creating a target list of conferences that could be attended by the agency’s investment attraction and recruitment specialists
Developing materials to support recruitment efforts, including two-page summaries and slide decks
The Results
Peterborough Economic Development, The City of Peterborough and Clean Tech Commons (with Trent University) continue to use the materials developed for the plan to guide their ongoing recruitment efforts.
