The leadership team at bwtech@UMBC, which fosters innovative technology companies in the greater Baltimore region, asked, ‘what does Research Park 2.0 look like?’ It wanted fresh eyes and an outside perspective to see how it might do things differently.
Stiletto led a governance review with bwtech@UMBC, handling coordination and planning for all meetings. The engagement included a review of the organizational chart and recommendations on finding its next president and executive director.
I appreciated Stiletto’s flexibility. We were looking to keep our budget within a certain level and they were able to accommodate. I found throughout that there was a willingness to work within our constraints. What I liked most was that Stiletto really took care of a lot of the planning and setting up meetings. We’ve seen sometimes with these types of things, it can take an awful lot of our staff time. I didn’t find that with Stiletto. Laura and her team really did the heavy lifting.
