In 2022, Spark Centre, Oshawa’s regional innovation centre, was looking to secure funds to expand the Eastern Ontario Innovation Corridor (EOIC). The EOIC connects innovation centres, business resources, and stakeholders across Eastern Ontario to link innovation- and diversity-dedicated partners to form an all-encompassing support system for entrepreneurs in, or arriving to, the area.
Stiletto was engaged to aid in EOIC strategy development and alignment with requirements needed to secure funds from FedDev Ontario’s Jobs & Growth Fund.
Stiletto worked collaboratively with the Spark Centre team and partner organizations throughout the process, providing expertise and guidance in program development and application writing to ensure a strong application.
Stiletto, acting as an extension of Spark Centre’s team, identified and prioritized application parameters, ensured buy-in from all project partners (10+), and worked with the team to ensure EOIC’s activities told a compelling narrative that supports the Jobs and Growth Fund mandates.
