A 2025 survey conducted by Stiletto in partnership with the University Economic Development Association (UEDA) shows how higher education institutions are advancing efforts to create new companies, drive job creation, and transform academic research into economic opportunity.
Among the findings of the survey are the following:
- 82% of UEDA members are engaged in economic development to support their regional economies
- 89% offer internships to support career development
- 69% operate tech transfer offices
